Identity and Contact Details of the Controller
The company KOVO Litomyšl s.r.o., with its registered office at Svitavská 1257, 570 01 Litomyšl, registered at the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, file number C 23378, processes the following personal data when responding to an inquiry submitted via the contact form: first and last name, email, and phone number. This processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (formerly and hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”).

Processing of personal data is carried out by KOVO Litomyšl s.r.o., i.e., the data controller.
Please note that under the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
- Request information from us about what personal data of yours we process,
- Request an explanation from us regarding the processing of personal data,
- Request access to this data from us and have it updated or corrected,
- Request the erasure of this personal data from us – however, this erasure will result in the termination of contract negotiations,
- Contact us or the Office for Personal Data Protection in case of doubt regarding compliance with obligations related to the processing of personal data.
Purpose of Processing Personal Data, Legal Basis for Processing
In most cases, we use your personal data to fulfill the purpose of a contract concluded between you and us, to process a response to an inquiry submitted via the contact form, to inform you as customers via a newsletter, or to fulfill our legal obligations, especially accounting and tax obligations. Specific reasons for processing your personal data may further include:
- The legitimate interests of the Controller; in such a case, based on legitimate interest, we process personal data primarily in the form of so-called cookies, to which you have given your consent via your internet browser. Furthermore, our legitimate interests serve as the legal basis for subscribing to the customer newsletter, which we may send to your email inbox after prior verification of your identity (authenticity of the email); at the same time, you are allowed to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
- Your consent; if you have explicitly granted us such consent, we may use it to send you commercial communications, for example. At the same time, you are allowed to withdraw your consent at any time.
- Fulfillment of the controller’s legal obligations towards public authorities and offices.

- Personal data that the data subject themselves fills into the text parts of contact forms (contract, website form).
Duration for Which Personal Data Will Be Stored
The Controller processes the respective personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship (for example, during the fulfillment of an order) and also after its termination:
- For the period arising from the legal regulations applicable to the given relationship;
- For the entire period during which an unsatisfied claim of the Controller lasts or may last, which can be enforced against the data subject before a public authority.
Categories of Recipients of Personal Data and Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data will be made available only to the Controller, including the relevant employees of the Controller who are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding this data, as well as regarding security measures whose disclosure would compromise the security of this personal data. Personal data may be made available to entities other than those listed here only in cases where the disclosure of personal data is explicitly stipulated by legal regulations.
The Controller will not transfer personal data to third countries or to any international organization; however, they may use processors who will transfer personal data to further processors. These processors are:
